Try a tool on the sample screenshot.

A few good tools.
A lot less back and forth.

From a quick note to the last pixel.
The things you need, right where you took the screenshot.

Make your point.

Arrows, notes, highlights and counters. Say what matters without a long explanation.

Copy the words.

Grab text from an image or scan a QR code. No retyping, no extra tab.

Leave details out.

Pixelate private information or remove only the text. Keep the surrounding context.

Get the whole page.

Capture a long page or conversation in one image, beyond the edge of your screen.

Mind the gap.

Measure objects and spacing, pick a color, or take a closer look at a single pixel.

Bring it together.

Combine captures, add a backdrop, or pin a reference while you work.

Keep the context

A screenshot can say a lot.
It doesn't need to say everything.

Clean up the little things before you share. Hide text in a selected area while keeping the rest of the image intact.

More questions? We're here to help.

Which Windows versions does Klips support?

Klips is built for Windows 11. The download page will list the requirements for each release.

Are my screenshots uploaded automatically?

No. Editing and OCR run locally. Uploading to your own S3 storage is an explicit action. Diagnostics have their own privacy settings.

Where does the app go when I close the editor?

Klips stays in the system tray, ready for your next capture. Open it from the tray or use your capture hotkey.

Can I copy text without saving a screenshot?

Yes. Select a screen area for OCR and copy the recognized text. You don't have to save an image first.

Can I use my own storage?

Yes. Connect an S3-compatible bucket and upload directly from the app. Your credentials are stored locally; uploads go directly to your storage.

A few finishing touches. Then it's yours.
